The short version. This is a free self-reflection tool. It is not a medical, psychological or diagnostic assessment, it cannot tell you what is wrong, and nothing it says should be used in place of advice from a qualified professional. If anything it raises concerns you, please speak to your doctor or another appropriate professional.
Who these terms are with
This site is operated by Discover Humanity Group Ltd, trading as Seven Jacobs and Discovery Group, a company registered in England and Wales. By using the Emotional Fitness Diagnostic you agree to these terms. They sit alongside the main Terms and Conditions at sevenjacobs.com, which apply to my coaching, hypnotherapy, speaking and programme services. Where the two differ in relation to this tool, these terms apply.
What this tool is
The Emotional Fitness Diagnostic is a free, self-scored questionnaire based on my own 3Rs and 3Cs framework. It asks you to rate yourself and then reflects your own answers back to you as a score, a type, a position and a set of suggestions. It is a mirror, not a measurement.
What this tool is not
- It is not a medical device, a clinical assessment, or a psychometric instrument, and it has not been clinically validated.
- It does not diagnose any condition, and no result it gives you should be read as a diagnosis.
- It is not therapy, counselling, hypnotherapy or coaching, and using it does not create a client relationship between us.
- It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, therapist, psychiatrist or any other qualified professional.
- It is not medical, legal or financial advice of any kind.
Nothing in this tool should delay you seeking professional help. If you are worried about your physical or mental health, or about anything the questions raised for you, please speak to a medical professional. If you are in crisis or at risk of harming yourself, contact your local emergency services or a crisis line in your country without delay.
Accuracy and outcomes
Your results depend entirely on how you answer, and self-assessment is imperfect by nature. Two people in identical circumstances can score very differently. The suggestions the report gives you are general in nature, not personal advice, and they may not be right for your situation.
I make no promise about any outcome from using this tool or from following any suggestion in it. Any action you take as a result is your own decision and your own responsibility.
Liability
This tool is provided free and as is, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of it or from any decision you make based on it. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.
Intellectual property
The 3Rs and 3Cs framework, the 3Ds, the question sets, the types, the written content of this site and the report it produces are my intellectual property and that of Discover Humanity Group Ltd.
You are welcome to use this tool for yourself as often as you like, to download and keep your own report, and to share a link to this page with anyone. You may not copy, reproduce, adapt, resell or republish the questions, the scoring, the framework or the report content, or present them as your own, or use them to build a competing tool, without my written permission. If you want to use this with your team or inside your organisation, get in touch, because I am usually glad to say yes.
Acceptable use
Please do not attempt to disrupt this site, submit automated or false entries through the download form, or use it in any unlawful way.
Your data
Your answers and your results never leave your browser. Your name and email are collected only if you choose to download your report as a file. The Privacy Policy sets out the detail.
Changes and availability
This is a free resource. I may change, update or withdraw it at any time, and I do not guarantee it will always be available. If I change these terms I will update this page and the date at the top.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
